Is staph recurrent ?



        The reasons for recurrence is often the spreading of the staph bacteria from one part of the body to another. This is easily done by touching, bed sheets, clothes and especially towels .Other common spreading is via person touch and touching animals . The most common places from where people contact Staph infections are hospitals, gymnasiums, pool and whirlpools. Sport contact is also known for recurrent furuncles boils or folliculitis.

How to prevent recurrent staph infections

1. Shower twice a day.
2. Use antibacterial soaps.
3. If you have a dry skin use lotions.
4. Use clean clothes and change them every day.
5. Wash towels several time a week.
6. Bandage all bleeding wounds and try to keep them as clean and sterile as possible.
7. Do not shave if you suspect a staph infection of the skin.
8. Avoid contact to other people as mush as you can so that you would not contaminate others.
9. Wash your hands many, many times.
