What is Staph folliculitis ?Folliculitis is a infection of the skin produce by the staph bacteria. It looks like blisters that are filled with pus. they appear in the armpit, at the beard, in the neck or other places. They are rather itchy. Follicullitis can lead to more complications and can sprea to deeper structures. This is known as a furuncle (boil). Folliculitis looks like red bumps that are filled or not with pus fluid and at the top have a red bump. The superficial disease is initially limited to the skin, and the sebaceous glands and hair. They are generally considered Furuncle (or a carbuncle if they flow together) and Pyodermien known as a wound or the skin. Carbuncle refers to a area of interconnecting furuncles that is deeper that boils. |
