        Stap is mainly responsible for suppurative infections loco-regional ( Suppurative infections involving bacterial growth, invasion and destruction of host tissue, the inflammatory response locally and systemically ).
The most common infections with staph are mucocutaneous infections such as folliculitis, impetigo, boils, anthrax, whitlow, cellulitis or sinusitis and ear infections. They are often self-infestations.

        These infections are sometimes complicated by loco-regional extension of the infection or the blood-borne bacteria. Staph can be responsible for sepsis, for endocarditis, pneumonia, osteomyelitis, arthritis, meningitis or urinary tract infection.
