Staph Pneumonia

Can staph lead to Staph pneumonia ?

        A pneumonia by Staphylococcus aureus can occur if a flu through the influence of A virus existed.
Staphylococcus aureus is frequently involved in nosocomial infections. The high incidence is explained by the intensive use of antibiotics that selected, in the ecosystem hospital strains resistant by the fragility of the patients and the care and treatment more daring but more and more aggressive than they undergo. The input channels are iatrogenic (needles, probes, cannulas, catheters, infusion, drains ...)

        Staphylococcus aureus is a pathogen because it produces toxins.
One complication of septicemia in staphylococcus aureus is the occurrence of infective endocarditis. Staphylococcal pneumonia are rare but serious because of the risk of complications in type of abscess, extensive pulmonary necrosis or shift to encysted pleurisy.
The acute osteomyelitis usually affects the long bones in children and adults vertebrae. Similarly, unlike that seen in adults, septic arthritis in children may be associated with adjacent osteomyelitis due to the presence of blood in the epiphysis. Staphylococcus aureus also holds a dominant place in osteo-articular infections post-surgery, or after inoculation trauma.
