The main focal staphylococcal skin is due to the penetration of germs in the skin (pilo-sebaceous follicles, sweat glands) or mucous membranes at a wound. These can lead to the development of folliculitis, boils, sycosis, anthrax, styes, hydrosadenites, whitlow, onyx Paronychia, impetigo, and abscesses in various locations (breast, buttock, the margin of the anus, armpits ....) conjunctivitis, tonsillitis, phlegmon of the amygdala, otitis or sinusitis.
These mucocutaneous infections are sometimes the starting point for deep suppuration or general infections and Staph wound. General infections like sepsis give rise to frequent metastatic locations generating deep infections and Staph wound to the surface of the skin.
